World corruption

Transparency International released report on corruption in countries all over the world.
Worst countries are Somalia, Myanmar and Iraq. You will find lowest corruption in Denmark, Sweden and New Zealand (Congrats :) )

Slovenia landed in 26th place from 180 countries. Which is one place better then in 2007.
With this pace will be 1st in 2033, but who cares right. Because in 2030 will be living and dealing with corruption of Mars countries :D

About me

I live in Mozirje, Slovenia. I study chemistry on Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology in Ljubljana. Since 1. January 2007 I have a permanent job in Ljubljana as a computer programmer.

I drive to work every morning at 6.00 for 80km. At the end of the working day I drive same 80km back home. Now if I would live in Germany people would say only 80km :D But for Slovenia thats a lot!

It’s cheaper to drive to work and lose 2 hours on the road every day then to live in Ljubljana or somewhere close to Ljubljana and pay expensive rent for a few m2 of living space.

So I hope I can move to New Zealand soon.

ActiveMigration

Hi!

Today I attended the ActiveMigrations seminar. Tony Lenko was talking about how to migrate from Slovenia to Countries like Canada, Australia and New Zealand. My girlfriend Maja and me were there so we can get some new information regarding migration to New Zealand. And to ask Mr. Lenko some questions in person.

After this seminar we changed our migration deadline from 5-7 years to ASAP :)

So after we fill out the paper work I will send ActiveMigration our data and will see how good our chances really are.
