Goodbye Slovenia

Hello world!

Welcome to Goodbye Slovenia.

My decision is final. I’m moving to New Zealand ASAP.

I think that most of my fellow citizens of Slovenia would agree with me when I say Slovenia just sucks! Now don’t get me wrong. It’s a beautiful country. You can explore everything from mountains to it’s Adriatic sea. But economically speaking it’s still a child.

We have lover salaries and higher costs than other countries. I’ve been programming for all most 10 years now. My intelligence is high above average and still a garbage man in Germany gets more money than me at the end of the month. If that doesn’t make you cry than you’re not living in Slovenia

I watch “Goodbye Deutschland! Die Auswanderer” on German TV; VOX I believe. And in May I was on ActiveMigration seminar. Later that day I was thinking about many things around migration to New Zealand. Since there is a waiting time of around 1 Year for New Zealand work VISA I decided to set up this blog and to write and archive all the steps me and my fiance Maja will take to make this dream come true. Maybe someone else from Slovenia will find this information useful
